Working parts and repair
Choose the part identified by your inspection. WeiMing supplies pick-up tubes, rotor assemblies, seals and complete-pump overhaul.
The fixed pick-up tube receives liquid at its mouth and sends it to the outlet; damage can reduce pressure.
Check operating causes before replacing it. WeiMing supplies directly replaceable Roto-Jet tubes without requiring the old tube to be returned.
We send the proposed drawing for your confirmation before supplying a standard or coated tube.
A wear-resistant coating is available on Roto-Jet replacement pick-up tubes. It protects the surface against hard particles; chemical resistance still requires a suitable base material.
In company experience with liquids with a high content of hard particles, ordinary pick-up tubes can need replacement after 1–3 weeks. Wear-resistant coated tubes can extend that interval to 2–3 months.
The rotor produces the liquid motion used by the pick-up tube. WeiMing rotor assemblies directly replace the corresponding Roto-Jet working parts.
Review the rotor and tube together if both are worn; for vibration, also check base fastening, cavitation and loss of balance. Identify the rotor by its model or drawing, rather than the outside appearance of the pump.
Single and double cartridge mechanical seals are available. Selection uses the liquid, temperature and inlet pressure because the seal is on the inlet side.
API seals and flushing systems configured to API standards can be supplied. During repair, inspect the seal and O-rings and replace the failed item.
Other components are made from a customer drawing or old-part measurements. This route identifies items that cannot be defined by the model alone.
List each item separately and use its drawing to confirm dimensions. If measurement is required, identify the available old component.
Pick-up tubes, rotor assemblies and mechanical seals are regularly stocked. Available stock can be dispatched after payment.
Include the nameplate model, part and quantity, flow, head, temperature and liquid properties. Describe solids, particle size and hardness, corrosion concerns and any change in operating conditions.
Add inspection findings, seal and flushing requirements, and any existing drawing. Component photos are optional.
Complete Roto-Jet pump overhaul is available when workshop repair is needed instead of individual parts.
